Look beyond assumptions
Separate what is known from what is assumed. Ask questions, gather relevant information, and clarify the real objective.
ABOUT WARREN
WARREN Services is built around a straightforward idea: organizations make better operational decisions when problems are understood clearly and possible solutions are evaluated carefully.
OUR MISSION
WARREN Services aims to help organizations examine the way their work gets done, understand operational challenges, and identify realistic opportunities for improvement.
The focus is on clear reasoning, practical recommendations, and a thoughtful understanding of the people, processes, and constraints involved.
Based in Southwest Washington, WARREN Services works with businesses across all 50 states. On-site engagements can be discussed based on each client’s needs, location, scheduling, and travel arrangements.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
An apparent problem may be a symptom of something deeper. Before choosing a solution, it is important to understand the circumstances that created the problem in the first place.
Separate what is known from what is assumed. Ask questions, gather relevant information, and clarify the real objective.
Examine causes, relationships, and constraints. Explain why a recommendation makes sense and where uncertainty remains.
Consider available resources, organizational needs, and implementation realities rather than assuming every ideal solution is achievable.
OUR APPROACH
Define the challenge, understand the desired outcome, and identify the people and processes involved.
Review available information, investigate potential causes, and identify important constraints or unanswered questions.
Consider possible approaches, their trade-offs, their feasibility, and the assumptions behind them.
Present findings and recommendations in a way that helps decision-makers understand their options and determine what to do next.
THE FOUNDER
WARREN Services brings practical operational experience to businesses looking for a fresh perspective and workable ways to improve how they operate.
Founder, WARREN Services
Jason Cozad brings more than three decades of experience across commercial truck manufacturing, industrial sales and distribution, and operations management. His background also includes work in injection molding, metal fabrication, and diesel and heavy equipment repair.
Throughout his career, Jason has worked with employers and clients to solve operational problems, improve processes, and implement practical solutions. His experience includes root cause analysis, curriculum development and instruction, distribution planning, and process improvement within client facilities.
He has organized and managed more than a dozen facilities across nine states, with responsibilities spanning distribution, safety, personnel management, training, facilities management, scheduling, quality assurance, fleet management, and client relations.
This breadth of experience has given Jason a practical understanding of how businesses operate, how processes affect performance, and how improvements can contribute to greater efficiency, safety, productivity, and profitability.
Through WARREN Services, Jason aims to make that experience available to businesses seeking a fresh perspective on their operations, opportunities to reduce waste, and practical ways to improve how they work.
FROM THE FOUNDER
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with businesses and their people to solve problems, improve processes, and find better ways to get things done.
Over more than three decades in manufacturing, distribution, sales, and operations management, I have seen how much can be accomplished when people take the time to understand a problem, question existing practices, and work together to develop practical solutions.
I have also seen how easily opportunities for improvement can be overlooked.
Sometimes, processes continue simply because they have always been done that way. Decisions that once made sense become habits, workarounds become standard practice, and small changes accumulate over time. Eventually, a business can drift away from the practices that best serve its people, its customers, and its goals without anyone recognizing how far it has moved.
I believe a fresh perspective can help bring those opportunities into focus.
An outside observer brings a different set of experiences and questions to the table. By looking at a process with curiosity rather than assumptions, asking why things are done a certain way, and listening to the people who do the work every day, it becomes possible to identify problems and opportunities that might otherwise go unnoticed.
Finding opportunities is only part of the process. Meaningful improvement requires understanding the underlying causes, developing workable solutions, and putting those solutions into practice. Throughout my career, I have worked to do exactly that, whether the goal was improving safety, increasing production, reducing costs, or making a process work more effectively.
I established WARREN Services to make this experience available to businesses that could benefit from a fresh set of eyes and practical operational guidance. Not every business has the time, resources, or internal expertise to step back and evaluate how its operations could work better. Sometimes, knowing where to begin is the hardest part.
My goal is to help businesses recognize opportunities, understand their options, and find practical ways to improve. I believe that meaningful progress often begins with a simple question: Is there a better way to do this?
